In order to compare two hydroponic culture systems (Countinuous and Pumic) for producing two cultivars of greenhouse cucumber (2259 and Delta Star) an experiment was conducted in randomized complete block design with five replications. For mineral nutrition of plants Murashige and Skoog solution (M.S.) was used by concentration of leaves. The height of the stem, diameter of the first internode, number and the length, diameter and yield of the fruit were recorded. The effect of method of cultivation on all traits were significant, but the difference between two cultivars was not significant. The intotal continuous method was superior than pumic system in terms of continuous flow of nutrient solution and floating the root in it, the extension of root net and the increase of photosynthesis effeciency. With the respect of the experiment conditions, continuous system is recommended.
