Abstract

The effects of three doses of Spirodiclofen SC 240 in comparison with three registered ‎acaricides on citrus rust mite in western part of Mazandaran province during period of 2003-‎‎2004 studied. The BCR design was used to assign four replications of seven treatments ‎‎(Spirodiclofen SC 240 at doses 0.1, 0.18 and 0.27 millilitre in 1000cc water, Fenproximate, ‎Pyridaben, Abamectin) including an untreated check plot. Twenty treated fruits from each ‎treatment and number of alive CRM counted under stereo microscope, one day before and ‎three, seven, 14 and 25 days after acaricides application accordingly. The percentage of ‎mortality of immature CRM population indicated that Spirodiclofen of 0.27 percent had ‎maximum control. The effect of all treatments was maximum in 3rd day of the sampling, but ‎mortality rate increased with the extent of interval period. The envidor 0.27 percent due to ‎lower doses among the registered acaricides in Iran and because of the higher efficiency with ‎sustainable effect can be recommended for control of CRM in Mazandaran province.‎
