Lehmannia valentiana is one of the most important pests of ornamental plants, vegetables and other agricultural crops, which causes noticable damages. In a food experiment four kinds of food for 24 and 72 hours were offered. The preferences of food were Amaranthus tricolor, Cineraria grandiflora, Pelargonium peltatum, Rosa damascena and L. valentiana. The L. valentiaiia is active the whole year (except June till middle of August) and causes damage to plants. Feeding of slugs from Oxalide rosea flower plant during experimental period (one week and three weeks after slugs leasing and feeding) indicated that growth of Oxalide rosea flower plant considerably was reduced which caused the leaves and plant growth retardation.
